Over the years Stage Experience at The Alexandra has provided young people aged 8–24 with the opportunity to be part of a professional production, building skills, confidence and unforgettable memories along the way. PRG is proud to support the team behind Stage Experience, helping bring the production to life with professional lighting and celebrating the creativity and dedication of everyone involved. Peter Marshall has forty years’ experience in the lighting business, a career that has brought him a wealth of experience in touring with musical and dance productions in the United States, Europe and Asia; including large-scale productions for Coca-Cola, General Motors and Honeywell Bull, and the Super Bowl XX half time show in 1986.
He then toured with the Welsh National Opera and following this he started with Theatre Projects in 1987, which was then acquired by Vari-Lite in 1999 and merged with PRG in 2004.
In recent years, Peter has been responsible for West End and Worldwide touring productions, together with large-scale events. West End musicals include various Mamma Mia’s, Wicked, Lion King, Jersey Boys, Book of Mormon, Come From Away, & Juliet and Dear Evan Hanson, plus touring productions like Cats, Beautiful, Blue Man Group and Phantom of the Opera. Large scale spectacular events namely the VE-Day and VJ-Day, celebrations, The Queen’s Golden Jubilee Celebrations, Commonwealth Games Opening and Closing Ceremonies in Manchester 2002 , The Ceremonies of the 28th Olympiad in Athens, Greece in 2004 and Broadcast and Sports Presentation lighting for the London Olympic and Paralympic Games and the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo’s
